GreenInfo Network releases new Calif. Protected Areas Database (CPAD) 06-05-2013CPAD is a GIS inventory of all parks and other protected open lands in California (49 million acres, 14,000 named units owned by 980 agencies/organizations) - more information and download links are at www.CALands.org. The new edition of CPAD has major improvements in both data coverage and data structure, and comes with a completely revamped CALands.org web site. This update is the first of at least three that are supported by a grant to GreenInfo Network from the California Strategic Growth Council. read more...
